IMO targets 2028 for a dedicated Maritime Cyber Code

IMO's Facilitation Committee (FAL 50) agreed to develop a goal-based, non-mandatory Maritime Cyber Code covering ports, ships and the ship-port interface by 2028. Mandatory cybersecurity measures for Single Window security are being folded into the FAL Convention, targeted for adoption at FAL 51.
